The Singapore Teaching Practice (STP) is a model of teaching and learning developed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore to guide and strengthen effective teaching. Its Pedagogical Practices are guided by the Singapore Curriculum Philosophy, which encapsulates the teaching fraternity’s beliefs about teaching and learning, with every student placed at the heart of educational decisions. These practices are supported by Knowledge Bases that provide teachers with an understanding of subject matter and goals, theories and research on students and learning, and theories and research on teaching.
This infographic highlights updates to the STP Knowledge Base in the area of Engaging Students in Feedback. The key ideas — how teachers can develop their feedback literacy, how to share responsibility for feedback with students, and how to thoughtfully integrate GenAI tools into feedback practices — are relevant across diverse educational contexts and subject disciplines.
